To remove a point, on the right, click undo. Use another route as a guide to trace over. Add the following lines after the markers in the javascript:

Search for a place, or select a location on the globe. See the distance in miles or kilometers update and view the elevation profile as you plot the route. To remove a point, on the right, click undo. Change the view to map, satellite, hybrid or terrain using the controls above the google route map.
